Another mini art book - individual images, no storyline.
Sketched images using a Techniclick G propelling pencil. Ideas from my head - this is a quick project. Some images I discarded and ended up with 5 drawings.
Inked using drawings pens (brand written in Asian script) and laid down first layer of colour.
Both first and second layer colour done with Winsor & Newton pigment markers. Coverage is not as flat as alcohol markers but very vivid - closest thing to using actual art grade pigment in a marker format. It's possible to get a painterly effect and the layers can be built on top of one another.
Third layer of colour was laid down with Faber-Castell Polychromos coloured pencils.
Finally the book pages were glued back-to-back and a cover attached. I cut out part of an image from a discarded drawing. Mini art book finished!
